While Asbury University’s annual Reunion is an opportunity for alumni to reconnect with their classmates, it can also be an opportunity for entire families connect in a new way with each other and the "Asbury experience."

Alice Mary Cook ’00 Smith returned to campus for Reunion in 2010 and was touched to hear how authentically her fellow alumni — some of whom had attended Asbury long before she was born — shared about their struggles, challenges and experiences. Their spirit of vulnerability became a powerful avenue through with she was reminded of God’s presence.

“When I attended my 10th Reunion, our family spent a long weekend on campus, which afforded me a lot of time for conversation and reflection,” she said. “Because He is a faithful Father, God gave me the gift of perspective and drew me in again to the story He is telling.”
