Signs of a career
I graduated from Asbury Defender Class of 1982. My biggest memory is taking American Sign Language as an extracurricular activity. We met every week learning sign language. We would go to Danville School For The Deaf and play with the kids. It was due to these classes that I am now a certified Interpreter for the Deaf in the Columbus City Schools. If I did not attend these classes, I would never have found my profession in life. Thank You Asbury!!
