About Me

I'm a native of Dayton, Ohio and am a 2007 graduate of Asbury, where I studied Communication Arts, Leadership and Creative Writing. After graduating, I celebrated by riding my bicycle from Virginia to California before getting a job in public relations for a 2008 presidential campaign in Des Moines, Iowa. Afterward, I returned to Kentucky to cover crime for a small daily newspaper in Frankfort and married my college sweetheart, Mindy. I've been back at Asbury since August of 2009 and I'm blessed to get to share what I experienced when I was a student here (we were only a college in those days) with future Asburians! In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, the outdoors, spending time with Mindy and travelling to Ohio to visit my parents and little sister.
