Did you know that college graduates earn about 40% more per year than high school graduates (U.S. Census Bureau, 2000 Census Data)?

Did you know that Asbury University guarantees the current tuition rate for Adult Degree Completion students for 30 months from the date of the first class!!!  What this means is that most Adult Degree Completion students do not see tuition rate increases while they are finishing their degree!

Other Financial Information and Policies

Policies. The following is available in the Adult Degree Completion Program Office:

  • A refund policy for dropping a course and/or not completing a semester.
  • A policy on what academic progress a student must maintain to qualify for financial aid assistance.
  • An appeals process if a student feels he/she has been unduly denied financial aid, or if the student can provide a legitimate reason for not achieving Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Parking. A $13 parking fee is assessed for each term.

Change of Cohort. A $200 fee is assessed for a change of cohort.

Program Reinstatement. A $200 fee is assessed for reinstatement into the program.

Credit By Demonstrated Competency. The University assesses a $40 Portfolio Evaluation Fee for each credit hour by Demonstrated Competency (CDC) for which the student applies and a $25 fee for every hour of credit the University accepts.

For example, if a student applies for 10 credits and the University accepts 7 credits, the University charges the student $575 ($40 x 10 credits = $400) plus ($25 x 7= $175). A faculty member in the appropriate field of study evaluates a student's work to determine acceptable credit. CDC is limited to not more than 30 units of credit.
