Dr. Carol Eades has been Director of the ACHIEVE Program
since 2007, having served a brief tenure as Assistant Director prior to
becoming Director. Dr. Eades has a
Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction in Higher Education, a Master’s in
Educational Counseling and Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English
and Political Science from the University
of Kentucky. Previously, she has taught postsecondary
courses in English, Business Writing, Literature, Psychology, College Reading,
Developmental Reading and Writing, and Academic Strategies for Success, and was
Chair of a Developmental Studies Program.
Dr. Eades has published several articles, mainly in the area of
Postsecondary Developmental Education.
She also currently teaches online college courses and is Managing Editor
of the Journal of Organizational Computing and Electronic Commerce.
