Homeschool Music Classes

The Asbury University Music Department offers music classes in both vocal and instrumental music for elementary students.  Home-schooled students come to the Asbury University Music Department for classes taught by university students who are in teacher training programs.

Elementary Vocal Music Education Classes will be offered on Thursday afternoons from 12:50-1:50 p.m.  For the Fall of 2011, the classes will be based on Orff and General Music Education methodologies (using the scale syllable system of sol-fa, rhythm syllables and hand signs, but incorporating instrument and movement activities as well).  Registration & information forms are available below.  Just click on the appropriate link, and return the registration form at your earliest convenience.

Elementary Band Class, Grades 5-8, will be offered again in the Fall of 2012.  Please check back in August of 2012 for that information.
