Michele Wells (Mallett)
Michele Wells is a native of Fort Wayne, Indiana. She completed her undergraduate degree in psychology at Indiana State University and her Masters Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Professor Wells is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. Professor Wells is also a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. She was Department Coordinator for the Social Work program at Taylor University Fort Wayne where she taught for six years, and she has been in the field of social work for 20 years. Professor Well's clinical experience is in the area of counseling mental health issues with children and families, with particular skill in the area of addictions. Her teaching experience includes the areas of addictions counseling as well as multicultural counseling. She has also served as an adjunct professor for Indiana University Purdue University in Fort Wayne, IN and Huntington University in Huntington, IN. Presentations include "Constructing Social Integration" which emphasized cultural competence, "Teaching the Millennial Student," Grief and Loss and most recently Transformational Leadership in the Classroom.
