~ College designates 115 acres to be used for the equine program
January 1998
~ First round pen ring constructed
~ Official physical education horseback riding class is offered at the equine center

~ Fencing around fields installed; one big field was split in two

~ Jessamine Connection riding lessons started
May 1999
~ Box stalls were constructed with sliding door; paving of driveway inside the barn

~ First issue of In Stride was designed and produced by Renée Frantum '00
~ Riding lessons were offered to children of Fayette & Jessamine counties

~ Run-in sheds built in small front field
May 2000
~ Summer camp program was initiated by Charley Neal '01
- 10 one week sessions; for children ages 7-14

~ Natalie Franich '01 Bronson coached Phillip Riley in the Kentucky Special Olympics
