Abbie Gibitz

Academic Preparation

I graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2007 with a BS in Social Work and a minor in Intercultural Studies. After graduation, my husband and I moved to Wilmore to pursue masters degrees from Asbury Theological Seminary. I graduated from ATS in 2010 with an MA in Pastoral Counseling.

Responsibilities at Asbury

As admissions coordinator and program assistant for the Graduate Education Program, I have the opportunity to promote our program and interact with prospective graduate students and process all admissions materials. I also assist current students and faculty in achieving their professional goals.

Family and Personal Interest

I enjoy spending quality time with my husband as well as with our friends and family. I love to host people in our home, play games, go to musicals and concerts and enjoy being outside. I also enjoy volunteering at our church youth group and walking our dog.

I am passionate about helping people pursue the calling God has placed on their lives. Working in the Graduate Education Program gives me the opportunity to assist people in following their passion to teach, and I'm thankful to be a part of that!
