WILMORE, KY—Do you want to participate in a live audience? Asbury College Theatre and Cinema Performance program presents a sitcom “Friends Like You” March 6-7. It will be shot in the Doddridge-Holland theatre in front of a live studio audience. Your responses will become a part of the program. Show times are at 7:30 p.m. both nights, and admission is $5.
“Friends Like You” follows the ups and downs of Chad Mosby as he tries to find a way to get Megan, the beautiful new waitress at the coffee house to notice him. Meanwhile, his lifelong friend and roommate Todd Wilder, has concocted an elaborate and questionably-ethical scheme in order to obtain a free High-Definition TV set in time for the playoffs.
It’s been said that the course of true love never runs smooth. In Chad’s case, that would be a major understatement. And Todd may have won his high-def TV in a giveaway, but finds out that to collect it, he needs to be married.
Asbury students involved in the sitcom include: David Whitaker, Michael Gaynor, Tessa Carroll, Rayelle Laremore, Jeremy Kozeluh, Philip Ramsay, Andrew Groves, Gex Williams, Laura Bryant, Zachary Cobb, Kristen Ippolito and Lincey Hinkle.
