Who is he? A go-getter is one way to describe Owens, Chair of the Communication Arts department. From the time he was a freshman in high school, he's been a media maverick. Outside of class? Owens has been married for almost 25 years to his wife Lynn and has a daughter, Sarah. Some of his hobbies include media lapel pin collecting (the count is past 5,000), camping, and boating.
