Biography:
Margaret Park Smith joined the Asbury University faculty in the fall of 2008. Prior to Asbury, she was an adjunct instructor at RMCA+D in Denver, CO.  She and her husband Josh create a line of porcelain dishes under the rubric Dovetail.  They design, craft and distribute these dishes to shops, galleries and individuals throughout the country. Their clients have included the Orange County Museum of Art, Youngblood Art Gallery in Atlanta and Urban Outfitters.

In her creative research, Professor Smith specializes in contemporary ceramic practices including design, material culture and photographic imaging processes on clay.
