Student development consists of residence life, campus ministries, leadership development, health services, career services, center for counseling and student success/intercultural programs.
Residence Life
The Residence Life program is an integral part of student life at Asbury College. Under the direction of professional Resident Directors (RD), the Residence Life staff plans educational, spiritual and social programs; provides guidance; and works toward maintaining a safe and healthy community that is conducive to student development.

Campus Ministries
The Office of Campus Ministries is committed to equipping students for ministry and service on and away from campus. On campus (InReach Ministry), students can be involved in peer ministry as discipleship leaders, spiritual life assistants (chaplains) and spiritual life coordinators. Off campus (Outreach Ministry), there are many opportunities for mission trips abroad, as well as weekend and summer ministry teams.

Leadership Development
The Office of Leadership Development is invested in developing the leadership skills of our students. Focused on providing challenge and support, the leadership development program and activities are designed to stretch our students and to have an impact on the local community. Developing "Servant-Leaders" who can impact their world for Jesus Christ is key. This area includes an adventure program, leadership workshops and experiencial education.

Health Services
The Student Health Service offers free nurse and doctor visits to full-time students, and most medications, treatments and immunizations at a substantially reduced price.

Counseling Center
At the Counseling Center , you can find caring, professional, confidential support when you need it--and there's no charge for current students. The Counseling Center also offers workshops for engaged couples and forums and seminars on eating disorders, depression and many other topics.

Career Services
Career Services wants to help you discover your calling in life, learning the skills to excel in your field. Explore your options. Find out what careers fit your interests. Polish your resumé skills. Study for the GRE. Or find an internship that will help you determine what major you should choose.

Student Success/Intercultural Programs
The Office of Student Success and Intercultural Programs provides students the opportunity to make the college transition a smooth one. This office is responsible for new student orientation, intercultural orientation, our TAG program (Transition and Guidance), as well as Gen 100 and StrengthsQuest.
